In 2022, Pronar Wheels consistently implemented the strategy initiated several years earlier. For the last 12 months, we have focused on the technological development of production and increasing our market advantage.
Many companies had assumed in advance that 2022 would be a less crisis-ridden year compared to the previous, pandemic one. Unfortunately, the tense situation beyond Poland’s eastern border had an impact on the prices and availability of raw materials and energy around the world, especially in Europe. It is difficult to find a business that wasn’t affected in any way by excessively high operating costs. We also encountered a few obstacles, but having already had similar experiences, we managed to overcome them for another year in a row, thanks to high steel stocks and in-house production.
As the owners of the technology behind the production of wheels, we are constantly modifying and introducing innovative solutions to existing production lines. This is to raise safety standards and shorten the production time of the detail. All these novelties allow us to expand the product range and successively increase the number of disc wheels produced.
Technical and commercial activities translated into an increase in sales by 29% compared to 2021.
This was due not only to the modifications introduced in the production process, but above all to the Sales Department, which is constantly expanding. In addition, the modernization of our warehouse space had an impact on the quality and speed of service. It made it possible to optimize the processes taking place during the organization of shipments to customers.
Just like last year, the fastest growing unit of Pronar Wheels is the tyre wholesale. The section dealing with the sale of tyres for agricultural and construction machines has increased its turnover compared to last year by 91%! Other Sections also recorded significant increases.
2023 will be an important year in our business. For the last two years, we have been working on two large projects that will allow us to reach new customers and conquer new markets. We can boast that both of these premieres will take place this year. We have ambitious plans – both development and sales. We can’t wait to share them with you.
