Hello everyone, my name is... and I will be your guide. We are currently in Pronar Wheels Plant No. 3. This is our latest investment, covering an area of 17,000 (seventeen thousand) square meters.

The construction of the plant began in May 2022 and it was commissioned in December 2023. The factory is divided into three sections: the warehouse, the paint shop, and the production area.

Pronar Wheels is the second largest wheel manufacturer in the world. What's more this, along with the two other wheel factories, can produce a total of 2 million wheels per year.

Production:

Our production consists of two identical lines with a total of eight profiling machines.
All the machines were designed and built by Pronar employees.
This is the eighth and ninth generation of machines developed over the past 25 years.

This is where the wheel production process begins. Sheets of steel are picked up by robots and then formed in rollers.
Here the rollers are closed with a welded flat bar.

Next, the rim goes to the profiling machines, where a specific profile or profiles are formed, depending on the type of wheel.
These large carts are used for automatic tool changes—if we switch the production type, for example, to a larger size, everything happens automatically.

The profiled rims then move to the welding robots, where the wheel disc is welded in. The finished wheel is then taken from the resting area and hung on the paint shop hanging conveyors.

Paint Shop:

Our paint shop identifies the size of the suspended wheels and automatically sorts them in line for painting.

Before reaching the painting robots, each wheel undergoes nine preparatory stages, during which the steel surface is chemically cleaned, and then the wheel is submerged in a cathodic dip tank.

The distance that each element travels on hanging conveyors is 1,250 (twelve hundred and fifty) meters.

After that, the wheel is painted by robots, and painting one element takes a maximum of 30 seconds. The final step in the paint shop is curing the paint coating in an oven.

That’s all, Thank you for your presence, and I wish you an enjoyable continuation of your tour.
